He Cares Community Outreach was a vision given to us first by Jesus Christ. Matthew 26:11 and Acts 20:35. This vision was then expanded by Oby's mother Mrs. Barnett, who has always had a heart to give to those in need.

So in 1982 Mrs. Barnett began serving many communities throughout Texas as a property manager in low income housing helping many families and people who had a need. Today that vision is still alive and well through He Cares Community Outreach.

Our goal is to meet 3 areas of human life physical, spiritual and resourceful. These are the 3 areas of needs that we believe if are met, can get people back on their feet to be the healthy productive citizens living the life that the Lord intended for all his creation.
